I am 80 yr old md on statins crestor 40 i had severe leg cramps followed next yr by thigh muscle pain and weakness i stopped statin but didnot improve since i had coronary stent cardio put me back on crestor 40 mg after a yr of increasing pain and muscle weakness i stopped after 6months i have only gotten worse contacted 6 academic prof.
